KA 'ELELE O KA MALUAHI
Our Newsletter is called "Ka Elele O Ka Maluahi".
The Hawaiian word "Elele" means to bring a message and refers to the ancient
runners who use to travel the trails of Hawaii delivering messages for the island Alii
(royalty). "Ahi" means fire and "Maluahi" means to protect from fire. We
encourage you to send any newsworthy information, which might be of interest to our members;
this includes: promotions, retirements, transfers, change of employment, articles which are
relevant, which you have come across. By contributing, you are providing a valuable service
to your fellow chapter members.
